Numbers - in photos they have so much to make one think about: the typography of course, but - unlike other signs - one might ponder what they may mean. Okay, this is a street number, but very often (like with the one before) it is not obvious what the numbers' purpose might be. (Perhaps a little bit like graffiti?). Just my thoughts why I like number-based photos ...

ReplyDeleteI agree, Martina, numbers seem so concrete, yet in a picture they often are highly ambiguous.
