Not Getting the Memo

Washington Depot, Connecticut

10/31/10. Maybe just a bit of exaggeration in the headline? This heavily right-leaning paper from nearby Waterbury seems to be enjoying a bit of fear-based consciousness-raising right before the mid-term elections.

As always, you can click on the picture to get a larger, more legible view.

"fifteen artists one exhibition"

Pittsfield, Massachusetts

As long as I'm talking about exhibits, 8 or 10 of my photographs will be included in this upcoming group show at Western Connecticut State University. The opening reception will be next Thursday, October 28, 4 to 7 PM, at the Higgins Gallery on the Danbury, CT, campus. Details and downloadable pdf of the show announcement available at the link. My contribution consists of street shooting work that has appeared here or at The WPII Blog. So if you'd like to see some of these pictures as real ink-on-paper prints at 20" size, here's your chance.

"Invisible New Yorkers"

Hartford, Connecticut

"Invisible New Yorkers" is the title of an exhibit of photographs by Angel Franco that opened last night at the Widener Gallery on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford, CT. The show will be up until December 9. Highly recommended.
