James, that's an interesting thought. I was surprised at how well the digital sensor handled the dynamic range, including a pretty smooth rolloff into the highest values. But there's no question an 8x10 negative and palladium print would render all the values and textures in a very different way.
It could have been a candidate for "weeds" too!
