Alejandro, the motel's blue paint was a bit weird--sort of 'vivid pastel' if that makes any sense. But mostly it was the effect of sunrise light in extremely humid, muggy weather. The light stayed interesting throughout the morning. Strong sunlight through thick haze isn't a condition we see that often in the northeast U.S.
