I have enjoyed your pictures of the Connecticut landscape over the past few days. Mostly as a result of trips through CT on I-95, I think of the state as being very urban. You are making me see a more rural view of CT, and I like it.
Edd, that's a common perception because of I-95. In fact CT has relatively little urban area. Even the suburbs are confined mostly to the southern 40% or so of the state and the area around Hartford. The northern half is really quite rural, though working farms are becoming more rare all the time.
And more snow coming. I love Conneticut, I spent a lot of time at Rocky Neck state park on the shore and Lime Rock Park back in the 60's and 70's. I still go to Lime Rock to see the races and always explore the north and northwest of your state.
