I see public works is expecting huge snowfalls for Waterbury this winter, installing what looks to be a 4 ft marker on the fireplug! ;-)
Yep, that's what it is. Notice also the utility pole is not sunk in the ground, but braced with two metal arms. I don't know what that's about.
