NO LOITERING

  1. Why do I want to place a comma after 'police'?

  2. Well, the original is a declarative sentence, and my comma makes it an imperative one.

"Eats, Shoots and Leaves" - published about 2004 - kind of played with punctuation.

No, not an English Major - just someone who can geek out about almost anything.

With the comma: this would be a reminder to police that while people in general should not loiter here, this applies particularly to them...

"No loitering - police, this means you" (grin)
