Non participants were supportive. During the caravan, several cars spotted the long line, turned around, and joined in. Some bikers on Harleys flashed the thumbs-up.

George Bush and entourage came to western Connecticut yesterday for a political fundraiser at Henry Kissinger's house in Kent. Demonstrators were kept away from the Kissinger estate but gathered on the town green at nearby Warren, then caravaned to march through the center of Kent.
