And Carl: People prefer sunny weather for photography probably for similar reasons why the get captured by ads: there is more punch in the light (and the pictures) then. I guess it takes time and experience and a good deal of sensitivity to learn to appreciate the not so loud pictures.

Thanks, Martin. I've always really liked rainy weather, never understood why some people wait for sunny weather to make photographs.
It seems we have had a lot of chances to shoot in the rain here in the NE lately.
