Freehand

Pavement markings are generally done by stencil or now with automated equipment. This is the only handicap parking space I've ever seen that was clearly hand-tagged with a spray paint can.

Well, that craftsmen for sure was skilled. If you ever tried to fill a given space with large letters, you know what possibilities for failure there are.

Indeed. The parking lot is for a storefront church, and I wondered if perhaps they had enlisted the services of someone with skills developed during less, er, authorized spray paint applications.
