Re. the Tesla: I assume it was on autopilot as it came to a full stop - at least in Germany self-appointed racing drivers tend to be quite liberal with such signage on minor roads...
No that's from December. Plus my car battery is drained too low to start, waiting for a jump starter gadget to arrive on Thursday. At least I felt well enough this afternoon to *try* to go see if there were ice pictures to be made at Hidden Valley.
There's been a scandal recently that Tesla's self-driving program included several speeds of "rolling stop" and that one of them is actually the default. Scrambling for software fixes and embarrassment all around.
