Spring Trees

I like this one -- it's a lovely time for the trees, and an example of a picture that survives the transformation into black&white that is now being advocated on TOP. Carl, is this one destined for your large print customers?

Hi Scott. I've been shooting up a storm as the brief window of flowering and leafing-out of the trees progresses. And yes, I'm doing them with the idea of large prints very much in mind.

When a capture has this much detail and texture, it's an individual judgment call how convincingly the shot interpolates up to 15x22 inches. I won't know until I run a section test out of the printer.

Seems the calm spring rains finally changing the dread of winter over to pale new green had the same effect on you and me. Don't you just love the palet of colors this time of year?
