Alejandro, as you know I never "explain" my pictures, but it might be good to supply some background information on the subject. This is from the Winsted Laurel Festival, the closing ceremonies of the beauty pageant (look at this blog just about a year ago for extensive work from last year's event). The ceremonies are usually held on the town green, which is all torn up with construction, and so were held this time in a church. This struck me as incongruous in more ways than one...
