Torrington, Connecticut
The Christmas Village the sign points to is the destination of the small parade. As fits the weather—it was just over freezing, damp and raw and nasty today—the route is quite short. The biggest contingent in the parade is the substantial Torrington High School band. There are a number of retired-military type units, the Boy Scouts, a jump-rope for kids group, and a float with kids dressed up as Christmas presents...
