The red of the short-shorts was weird, like the over the top chroma of yellow or orange safety gear. Then the pink paneling and the magenta stick-on lettering...it all needed that big expanse of gray metal for balance. The effect loses quite a bit in the web file with its limited gamut, but I'm looking forward to making a print on good paper and see how much I can retain in ProPhoto colorspace.
