Torrington, Connecticut

After all the shots from Houston, I find wet Connecticut roads a little less dramatic. Aren't you amazed at how roads can transform into rivers and then back again? The surfaces are amazing, not to mention that trying to get around and be of help in such a world must involve unique challenges. Apparently there are groups along the Gulf coast that know this world and train for it.

Scott, yes I've heard of programs training people to maneuver safely in flooded urban environments. This was just a mild summer rain, but any rain at all does wonders for the light and surfaces of everything.
