The rewards of insomnia? At least these *are* rewards - a nice, quiet environment and hope for a day with fair weather...

Without direct sunlight, the colors are still muted, even the vivid orange in #2. For a troglodyte like me (especially at this pollen-laded time of the year), this is the best time of the day.

Thanks Markus. Early morning is definitely my favorite time of the day. The trouble at this point is that I have to get up ridiculously early to get predawn shots because sunrise is so early this time of year. These were done a few weeks ago when 5 AM was early enough to get up and drive somewhere to catch the earliest light.
