So much going on here, it is quite wonderful! Love the green house, bottom center. Can't explain it, but it seems to 'center' all the gray tones. Does that make any sense?

Thanks Lyle. For several years I've done dozens of photo sessions centering on Baldwin Street, in Waterbury, CT. Don't know how many times I've stopped and looked west from Baldwin down this side street, but not gotten what I wanted. Last Saturday afternoon I went back knowing that a storm front was moving in. The dim pre-storm light seemed promising. What I've wanted was to show how steep the river valley is and how the houses seem to stack up over each other. I used a long lens (e~200) to compress the perspective and I think it all came together. I agree that the small green house anchors the design. With all the angular straight edges of the buildings, I love the sagging curves of the utility lines crisscrossing the view.
