I shot a few frames, then saw a car approaching and got out of the way to not get splashed. Then saw the nice patterns the moving water made in the reflections and shot a few more frames.

Oh, that's just your recipe: Frame and wait... I think you mentioned this to me years ago regarding some of your underpass images, where blurred cars become part of the composition.
