I like the old fashioned fire hydrant against the modern concrete architecture of the overpass, which look alien in comparison.
Robert, Waterbury's fire hydrants have some real character. Almost want to personify them.

David, hydrants are pretty interesting. Most are left dull or maybe intentionally inconspicuous, while other municipalities make them very spiffy and bright. I should rummage around and find more that I've shot over the years.
