Teaching a private workshop this weekend. Yesterday we did the soup-to-nuts Pt/Pd workshop. Begin by shooting a set of 4x5 inch pictures in a local park, looking for subjects and lighting that will benefit from the advantages of film exposure and platinum printing. Then develop the film, and by mid-afternoon we're able to begin to make palladium prints of the morning's film. These are yesterday's prints this morning on the drying screens. Today, more printing, and then make digital negatives from a couple of these and from digital captures made at the same time as the 4x5s, finally print a few of these at 9" wide. Busy busy.
