Even weirder than that, Southbury is an upscale suburban bedroom community. There's a big IBM facility, a large retirement "village" of condos, and lots of commuters to the corporate hills farther south in the state, or an hour east around Hartford. The sign seems surprisingly out of place there.

That's a really sad sign for a rather gloomy day. So the 2008 housing collapse hasn't finished yet?
