Declaration
Woodbury, Connecticut
This morning the Woodbury Democratic Town Committee held a ceremony to celebrate Independence Day. People gathered near the Library steps to hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence by Doug Schlicher. The simple event ended with the singing of the National Anthem.

Foggy Morning, 10/25/22
Woodbury, Connecticut
We had rain on and off for thirty six hours, without enough to do anything to compensate for the summer drought. But yesterday the temperature rose overnight, the overcast remained and sometimes leaked a little drizzel, so fog conditions lasted for many hours and worked well with the now fading late fall colors.

This morning at 6:39 I looked out the kitchen window and saw the most amazing light effect in the sky and land. Ran out back with a camera.
