From a bridge over the Little Hoosick River. As always, you can click on any picture to see a larger version for a better view of the details. Use your browser's back button or simply hit "delete" to return here.
Addendum: seems that the "delete" key trick is Mac-only. I sometimes forget people use anything else.

TOTS
For a little while WP will be working through pictures made on a quick three day road trip last week. I've already posted some of them, including one from the road (actually from a pizza place with WiFi). As a bit of a change of pace I'm going to post much more frequently than usual, working my way chronologically through the pictures as I edit the take.

Storm Coming In
I'd like to have posted this Thursday evening, right after shooting it, but the cheap motel's WiFi didn't work and there was no other internet linkup available. Would have been more fun to post it just an hour after watching it happen, but this will do.
All it did was rain. Meanwhile, back just a few miles from home, Bridgeport, CT, was hit by a likely tornado the same evening. I want to go see what happened. It sounds as though there was a lot of damage.

Blog Notes: Last Two Prints
This morning I made the last two prints needed to fulfill the marathon TOP platinum print offer. Finishing, packing, and shipping should be concluded early to middle of next week.

Turkey in the Backyard
Early this morning while getting the lab ready for printing, I was delighted to see a wild turkey hen working her way up the path from the barn. Better yet, it became clear she was surrounded by a clutch of at least five chicks. They worked their way up to the house and then up the hill in back. Aside from being fun to observe, turkeys are very welcome guests because they have a ravenous appetite for noxious insects like deer ticks.
