Fine light and colors, Carl - giving an almost surreal miniature effect without that blaring pseudo-tilt filter that is currently so much en vogue.

Markus, not sure what the pseudo-tilt filter is. A shot like this points up the extreme difference between working with a view camera, which I've done so much, where everything could be kept plumb and square with a front fall adjustment, and using a fixed-lens camera. It would have been a very different picture with the Deardorff.

OK, I found a tutorial about pseudo tilt, fake miniature effect. Now the only thing I don't understand is why anyone would ever want to do it...

Carl, sometimes, you just have to let "art" flow over you (from "The Big Chill"). Seriously, I have really enjoyed this series. It has really captured what I enjoy about being out in the quiet of a rainy day, yet to feel alive at the same time.
