Martina, insulation installers. To retrofit older, uninsulated houses. Blankets make you remove the exterior or interior wall to install them, which is OK if you are redoing one or the other anyway. Various insulating materials can be blown into the empty spaces in stud wall construction just by drilling fairly small holes.

LOL - I would never have guessed that. It's a really nice and aesthetic advertisement for this kind of business, isn't it?
I thought in the line of ... perhaps a launderette or some business that provides sheets and blankets and stuff for hotels etc..

Carl, this one baffled me as well, and I have been through a number of home improvements and additions over the years. Makes perfect sense when you explain it but as an advertisement, it strikes me as unnecessarily cryptic.

Edd, I had to stop and look at it for a minute. It rang a bell immediately but took a little longer to register. Back 25 years ago some of my main clients were "Shelter" magazines and I shot the pictures for several feature articles on various insulation retrofit options...
