Woodbury, Connecticut

This seems to be a growing ad campaign directed at Connecticut's "Blue Laws," holdovers from long ago Puritan influence on social behavior. All sales of alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Sundays. Businesses like grocery and convenience stores which tend to be open on Sundays and are allowed to sell beer the rest of the week apparently resent losing the chance to sell this profitable product on Sunday.

Massachusetts only is blue until noon on Sundays. I guess on your way home from church you can pick up beer for the ballgames.
