Thomaston, Connecticut
Yesterday I spent quite a while walking around the towns along the upper Naugatuck River Valley, looking for a holiday card picture. There was remarkably little seasonal decoration to be found. So little, in fact, that I didn't find anything to work with for the, well, quirky, cards I've been doing for a number of years now.
However, following on yesterday's flag post, here's another homemade flag, this time on what I remember from over fifty years ago as a boy scout camp trunk. The tricolor tires arranged next to it make a nice touch. This is outside a tiny building that is primarily a Redwing Boot outlet, but also a second hand merchandise store. Price sticker on the trunk is $75.
