We have had plenty of snow here in central Virginia with 18 inches over the weekend and another 3 inches or so last night. Really like the muted colors in this photo--snow has a way of rendering things monochromatically.
Edd, my friend with a farm in Giles County, VA, says she is spending the days curled up in bed with two dogs and seven cats...

My experience is that one cat easily occupies 80 percent of the available space in a bed. I would say your friend is curled up really small . . .
