Do I remember wrongly but was your description of this hotel originally a little bit more colorful? Namely I returned later to comment that I like your use of adjectives, but they were no longer there. Anyway, well spotted detail.

Juha, yes it began more colorfully because I was annoyed, but my favorite writing teacher advised that the quality of writing is inversely proportional to the number of adverbs and adjectives used, so I edited it.
