Stencil

Waterbury, Connecticut

This stencil  has been turning up in a few places. I don't recall seeing it until recently.

The mustache and mutton chop sideburns, long hair, and even the wreath are strongly reminiscent of the 60s counter-culture. It might even be from a black and white photograph from that time that I once saw... or the drugs I was taking then [g].

Be nice if we could read the number; perhaps you could use a larger (better) camera [LOL].

Tyler, the number isn't much worse than the "open sesame" verification for comments. Anyway, the file is tack sharp, it's the stencil itself that's soft--the lower part of the stencil must have been way out of contact with the wall when the paint was sprayed. The face does look counter-culture or even a bit Jesus-like. Familiar, but I'm not placing it exactly.

One of my commenters is convinced she must be a robot 'cause she can't do the captchas.

They were terrible when the change was made, but with the white background are more reasonable now. Annoying that they just up and did it without telling us. When readers began to complain I didn't know what was wrong.

But like we've said, it's free!
