Robert, I don't know if this is unprecedented (well, I do know that January's snowfall here in CT set an all-time record) but the situation is certainly unusual. Something has had a deja vu feeling though. Then I remembered: an assignment twenty or so years ago to photograph in January at Lake Linden, on the Michigan Upper Peninsula. That's how crazy it is in CT this year.

Even with seasonal weather I think some of these snow banks will be here into April or even May.
