Bring Distant Points of Interest Within Close Range with the Use of this Machine

Milford, Connecticut

The twenty-five cent charge surprised me—that's what I recall public binoculars cost way back when I was a kid. They were much more common back then, seemingly at every "point of interest," but I rarely see them today. Not much would have been revealed through the mist this morning, but on a clear day it should reveal a thin strip of Long Island.

Worth a visit to the source, Carl?

Tower Optical Company

Google Maps says it is only an hour's drive away from you.

Could be. I noticed the Norwalk address, less than an hour down the coast from Milford, and wondered whether it might be a small, local company, or maybe the last player in the field that just happened to be local. Will look into it some more.
