Shopping Center Dawn

Waterbury, Connecticut

Click on any of the pictures for a much larger and better view than the front page. In the third picture, made four minutes after sunrise, a group of Waterbury Police recruits are on a training run on the city streets. I suspect that along with physical training a goal is to familiarize them block by block with the community.

Rally for Women's Rights, 10/2/21

 Salisbury, Connecticut

While the big march was going on in Washington, DC, there were smaller marches and rallies all around the country. Hundreds showed up in the small, upscale town of Salisbury, in the far northwest corner of Connecticut. There were speakers, lots of pink outfits, and lots of hand made signs.

A half dozen counter protesters showed up. The groups didn't interfere, or interact, with each other.
