Smoke from wildfires in Canada and the midwest is blanketing the sky in Connecticut. Around one o'clock this afternoon in Naugatuck the sky was dim, everything illuminated by it was tinted yellow/orange, and haze softened outlines of objects just yards away. The hills in the middle distance were hazed out obscuring all detail. The forecast is for it to get much worse tomorrow.
