Winter sun and shade. Freight Street is mainly a warehouse and distributor district now, in buildings that used to be factories for the most part. The railroad still goes through, though not very often now.

Stubborn Leaves

Winter light under an overcast sky Tuesday afternoon, along the Shepaug at Hidden Valley. Just a few trees here and there have kept a set of brown leaves. They may be one species but I haven't had a chance to identify them.
