Two Buildings in Sunlight

The picture above shows a national guard armory that's still in use.

I don't often use full sunlight—I just don't think most things look interesting in full sun. I'm also not fond of winter light, this is my least productive time of year for making new pictures. But the attenuated, weak sunlight of mid-winter can sometimes be useful.

"I don't often use full sunlight" - a funny thing: I think of your work as using shadow shapes and volumes quite a bit, sometimes as almost "solid" picture elements - necessarily showing sunlit areas too, but pushed to the periphery. Perhaps those pictures just stand out more in my memory, than the many you have shown taken in softer light.
