Another Window

Ansonia, Connecticut

Recliners always strike me as old, 50s-era devices, or at least devices only old people use. It's just a perception, supported by evidence. But for some reason this modern window poster looked kind of old fashioned to me because it was so totally faded out from its placement in full sunlight in a corner window of the furniture store. Just visual coincidence.

There is probably no way to spin the recliner into modernity, even though modern is now old fashion.

Hmm.I should be careful here. My father became inordinately attached to his recliner chair at an age quite a lot younger than my present one.

Don't intend to go there.

Yes, Carl, you are on thin ice. I may be getting old and am probably somewhat faded, but be careful what you say about my recliner ;)

don't have a recliner, never did. but i want i like about this image aside from the modern v. fade aspect is the odd juxtaposition of the text 'boy' with the image, with the sign 'work'
