Works very well for me - those single blossoms (lilies?) highlight the uniformity of the green areas

Thanks, Don. Markus, they are "day lilies" and their season is just getting under way. There are many plants in the clusters, each flower lasts for just a day, but at peak dozens and dozens of flowers will be out on a given day.

Tina used to have wonderful sets of exotic day lilies around our place but it is very difficult to protect them from the deer, which think they are delicious, dammit.
