It's getting to be a nightmare. Apparently yesterday at 4:24 PM power was restored along our stretch of Route 47, except at our place and the one directly across the street. Houses are so far apart out here we can't see the neighbors and had no idea houses east and west of us got power yesterday. The guy whose office is across the street realized it when he drove there from his home this morning. The transformer that feeds two buildings here and the one across the street looks literally burned on the outside. I don't know how the crews could have missed it, unless it blew up when the power came back on with no crew nearby. Tina managed to get through to the power company on the phone to report it, but I have no idea how long it will take for them to respond.
