New York, New York
After the long introduction Saturday morning, needed to prepare students to dive into this somewhat complicated procedure, we got going, producing digital negatives from files each of the six participants had brought. After two test prints of a standard reference file to find a standard first exposure time for the lab conditions and print formula, each got to coat and prepare a sheet of paper and make a 5x7-ish Pt/Pd print from their picture before the end of the day. With the prints on the drying racks, on the way out in the evening I noticed someone had placed the six negatives carefully on one of the work surfaces. Today we'll try printing variations on those six pictures and prepare new digital negatives for printing from other files.
