I think one of the key benefits of just going out and looking for things to photograph, rather than setting up or conceptualizing pictures, is that you never know when you're going to find what really works. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Channelling Paul Strand, the world around us is far more fascinating than anyone's imagination.
