Reunion

In September of 1969, 38 people—students, faculty, and family—left San Francisco airport for Honolulu at the start of a nine-month travel scholarship. Most of us were twenty year old college juniors. We would visit, live, and stay with families in nearly a dozen countries around the world. It was quite an experience.

Last week, more than half of us, plus family, assembled at The Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill for a fifty year reunion. Also quite an experience.
