PINE & IRON

New Haven, Connecticut

I didn't know axe throwing was a thing, except at country fairs.

Well, that's probably a trend similar to German well-off Boomers wearing blue-collar brand jackets and trowsers while it's clear that most of them are unable to even bang a nail into the wall.

Markus, yes over here there's a pretty big trend of guys wearing Carthart work clothes when it's quite clear they've never set foot on a construction site, or climbed onto a tractor. Plus, on the storefront pictured, iron? Unless they are being incredibly anachronistic the axe heads will be made of high carbon steel. At country fairs with lumberjack contests, a staple is a demonstration that a guy can (carefully) shave with his axe.
