El árbol que destaca sobre los demás es como un grito en mitad del paisaje. Se eleva como en una danza mágica y parece interpretar una música a su medida. Me encanta tu sutileza al mirar y elegir lo que fotografías. Las otras dos fotografías, me hablan de espacio, viento, silencio, soledad elegida por ti a propósito no se si buscando simplemente la belleza de las imágenes o algo más intimo, más personal, un modo de vivir el paisaje, tal vez la vida. Thanks for those thoughts, Luis. These are locations I return to frequently (less than half an hour from my house). This day it was the unusual storm light I wanted to work with. The heavy overcast sky was darker than the snow, making an unusual atmosphere. I think I'm always trying to make pictures that people can find an emotional reaction to. Not necessarily the same emotion I was feeling, but a hope that something more than a visual description of the subject is happening.
