New Haven, Connecticut
What interests me after the parade kicks off, is to find interactions between the spectators and the marchers. Some peope were wise enough to watch the parade out of the cold and wind. But many others were out there for it.
The largest free single day spectator event in the state of Connecticut is the New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade. This year it was held a week early, on March 10. I've always found the activites at the assembly area of a parade a better place to find interesting pictures than the march itself. Here are some pictures made before the 1:30 PM step-off of the parade on a chilly and windy March day.
