It's a funny thing, how just the passage of some time can make the cruddiest stuff all around us, quietly turn rich and gorgeous.

Thanks, Richard. This is the former firehouse for this small city—its replacement is across the street. I'd seen this before in different light and thought it was "close, but no cigar." This time, the light was right.
