Sunrise after the Storm of the Century

Woodbury, Connecticut

We were clearly right at the northern edge of the big storm. 2-3 inches of soft fluffy snow at 10°F this morning. Think I'll wait till it gets up about 25° or so before I scrape if off the driveway.

I'm glad you escaped the worst of it. My relatives in DC are pretty well covered up.

Glad you weren't hit by the worst of this storm. Your snow doesn't look too bad. What happened to the windshield wipers on that car?

Wipers—we just leave them up in 'clean windshield' position, so they don't get stuck to the glass. Wouldn't have mattered this cold, but saves a lot of trouble when it's right around freezing with snow/sleet coming down. The Honda Fit has one wiper almost twice as long as the other.
