Spring Rain

Torrington, Connecticut

At least the moss is beginning turn bright green and ferns are beginning to appear at Burr Pond State Park.

Fine, Carl! Probably no surprise that I like those images as I am always in favour of a reduced color palette, and rain by far is the easiest provider for such a thing.

Rainy is always good for photographs, except perhaps for the camera.

Juha: Rainy is always good, but takes some extra care since the camera model I'm using isn't "splashproof" though it hasn't yet had any problems from a bit of rain.
Markus: the soft light and wet surfaces somehow make for a combination of subtle but intense color, which is fascinating.
