More Social Distancing

For some context on what this post is showing, it would help to have a look at this post made here at the Lourdes at Litchfield Shrine last Easter season:


Those were from their Good Friday processions which are always crowded events.


I checked their web site a few days ago to see what they were planning this year. The answer was that they were going to keep the shrine open during Holy Week for individual worship, but that all Chapel services were to be cancelled and the gates locked on Good Friday to make sure crowds didn't come independently to the famous Stations of the Cross route (see those posts from last year). There were only six or eight cars in the parking lot late Saturday morning, and people were carefully keeping their distance, which was pretty easy to do.
